Mukona Geotechnics was appointed by Infinity Power Development South Africa (Pty) Ltd to conduct pile pull-out testing at two sites in South Africa. The investigations were undertaken at Ngwedi near Boshoek in the North West and at Highveld in Mpumalanga.
The project involved installing driven test piles and assessing their performance under both lateral and tension loads. These tests provided site-specific data on the interaction between the piles and surrounding ground conditions, helping to confirm the suitability and performance of the proposed foundation system.
Mukona Geotechnics supplied the required steel, completed the pile installation and testing, and compiled the final technical reports. The work was completed within one month during 2025.
