The works formed part of the foundation and earth-retention requirements for the new student accommodation development.
Mega Pile was responsible for installing more than 720 foundation and contiguous wall piles. The piles ranged from 350 mm to 750 mm in diameter and were installed to depths of up to 21 metres, providing stable structural foundations and lateral support across the site.
The project required over 4,550 m³ of concrete and approximately 95 tonnes of reinforcing steel, demonstrating the considerable scale of the piling and lateral-support works completed during 2025.
