Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions.
- Price geotechnical investigations, piling, lateral support and grouting projects.
- Analyse drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports.
- Compile Bills of Quantities and pricing schedules.
- Obtain and adjudicate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Conduct value engineering and cost planning.
- Identify commercial and technical risks.
- Support tender negotiations and project handovers.
- Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in civil engineering, construction or geotechnical projects.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- CCS estimating software experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence.
- Willingness to travel when required.
